Keith was flying back to Italy tomorrow while I was staying a little longer in California before flying up to visit my parents in Washington state.  We went out to meet up with his Mom for lunch before going to his parent's house for dinner and to spend one last night with everyone.

While Keith and I took care of some last minute packing and documenting of our wine collection while Jennifer prepped food for the masses.



Keith and his father spent some quality time together with a little show-and-tell on the Internet.  I'm not sure what it was all about but they were both into it so it was important to them!



I had found a couple bottles of wine while I was recording everything in our stored stash and couldn't resist pulling them out to have with dinner (the two side bottles, middle one was donated by the parentals).



My brother-in-law Aaron and his family showed up as well as my sister-in-law Annette and her boyfriend.  I didn't realize that they would all be coming to join us and was very happily surprised to be able to see them all before leaving.



Dinner was deliciously grilled tri-tip and steak with cheese stuffed jalapenos and other yummy side dishes.  There was a serious lull to the conversation while we all dug in.





After dinner we continued sipping wine and hung out with everyone, lingering and savoring the time with Keith's family knowing that it would be a while before we saw them all again.  It was somewhat bittersweet because at times we do regret that we are missing out on seeing our nephews grow up and visiting with our respective families. 

This is one of our nephews, Jonah with his father, who really is quite a cutie and enjoys spending time with his Uncle Keith.



We reluctantly said our goodbyes to Keith's family and drifted off to sleep knowing that tomorrow was going to be yet another full day!
