My parents were unfortunately unable to make the dinner, which I was really hoping for since I know they would enjoy my friends, John and Barb, so I headed over to their house on my own.  We also had invited another couple to join all of us, Larry and Jill, although only Larry was able to make it.  Larry and Jill had lived nearby Cortona for a year before Keith and I moved to Italy.  Jill was extremely helpful and shared so many local resources with me and we had kept in touch on and off ever since they moved away although we hadn't had the opportunity to spend much time together.

It was John and Barb's first time meeting Larry and we all tried to relate how we knew of each other before dinner, which of course led to a LOT of conversation about Italy in general.



I've had some fun adventures with John and Barb over in Italy and they always are up for discovering something new.  We look forward to their visits and try to find some new festa or place to introduce them to.

Dinner was lovely and it was really nice to spend some quality time with some of my Italian friends outside of Italy.
