Keith was in the middle of putting together a big garden but hadn’t yet received all of the things he needed to start the work.  I took advantage of his tiny bit of down time to task him on helping me put in some rose bushes at the corner of our property!

We actually had to dig out the area by hand which was easier said than done; our earth is pretty hard.  I had bought a nice variety of roses, six plants in all, to put in the corner where we also hope one day to have a pergola.



Murphy and Porter did what they could to help, pretty much getting in the way of everyone and everything but they were having such a good time it was hard to tell them to go away.

Wish me luck keeping these new plants alive, I'm not really known for my green thumb skills but I guess everyone has to start somewhere!
